Out of the Office for Awhile

It is my regretful duty at this point to notify all of The Current’s faithful that editor David Rooney has recently suffered a stroke and will be unable to continue his work with the Current for the next week or so. Fear not, for David is strong and he is now resting comfortably in the Kamploops hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. I have been informed by his partner Sue that he is hoping to be back on his computer later in the week and that members of the community can, and should, still email him their stories and he will do his best to get them posted as his condition improves.
For now I would like to wish David and his wonderful partner Sue warm thoughts and my wishes for a speedy and full recovery. Godspeed David.

Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery David, we miss you already!
Get well David. All of us at Sotheby’s and RMR wish you a speedy and full recovery. If we can help in any way, please let us know. All the best,
Mike Vopni.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, David. Reminds us all of the fragility of our bodies that we assume can take anything. So for a while, do everything the doctors (and Sue) tell you to do so you can return to doing all the things you love to do.
Get well soon David, we will make sure nothing happens in town till you get back….!
God speed in your recovery , David . Love your paper and always look forward to it! Your primary job is now to get well!
