MLA impressed by new ambulance station

MLA Norm Macdonald was given a tour of the new BC Ambulance station on Wednesday. He said the new station was a definite improvement over the paramedics' digs over the past few years. Until the station was completed last month, paramedics had been forced to use motel rooms and, most recently, space at the Valley Blacktop garage in the Big Eddy. With Macdonald is Paramedic Antoinette Halberstadt. Joy Orr photo

was he impressed with the west coast architechural design that lets the snow fall directly in front of the ambulance doors or the beautiful north west facing windows that will not be seen until late spring , due to the mountain of snow in front of them. Would be nice to know the name of the firm so nobody else in Revelstoke will end up with these awe inspiring features !!!!??
