February 24: Come out for some fresh air, exercise and good company every Friday at the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club ‘parent & tot drop-in’ program. Parents will provide cooperative childcare supervision of infants/toddlers aged 4 & under, then take their turn to ski — Nordic Ski Club on Highway 23S — 11 am. February 25: Mark Heritage Week by visiting the Revelstoke Museum & Archives. The winners of the 2011 Heritage Awards will be presented with their awards and residents will have an opportunity to ask questions about the proposed Heritage Maintenance Standards Bylaw No. 2003, which currently only applies to the Revelstoke Station Heritage Conservation Area. The bylaw will be an important tool to help prevent demolition by neglect. There will also games and crafts for kids and cake and light beverages for all — Revelstoke Museum & Archives — 10 am – 5 pm. The Awards will be presented at 11 am

    Aug. 20 performance at Street Fest is going to be awesome. Some people may remember the band Pear from the Tom Jackson Christmas dinner fundraiser at the United Church two? winters ago; they were amazing! Pear and Pearband are one and the same!! Now all we need is a beautiful Revelstoke evening, and a warm jacket!
