Clovchok is already here and on Wednesday visited Downie Timber. He also met with Revelstoke Credit Union CEO Roberta Bobicki and then technology proponent Jean Marc LaFlamme of the co-lab above Royal LePage befre takng a quickie tour of Revelstoke’s attainable housing projects. He’ll also continue his door-knocking campaign.

Taft will be arriving here today and will be door-knocking here through the weekend.

Here are a few photos of Clovechok’s campaign activities on Wednesday;

BC Liberal candidate Doug Clovechok (center) toured Downie Timberand spoke to workers in a number of lunchrooms. He said this is a crucial election for local voters who have an opportunity to elect someone who understands local issues and has ideas about improving representation and constituency services in Revelstoke. He was accompanied by Greg Kyllo, the incumbent BC Liberal MLA in Shuswap (second from the right) and Mayor Mark McKee. Like any good politician, Clovechok enjoys talking to potential voters. Here he is handing out cards reminding voters that they can cast ballots in the advance polls. David F. Rooney photo
