Requests for print ad space must be received by Friday at 5 pm. To place a print ad please contact David Rooney at 250-814-9839 or by e-mail at drooney1@telus.net. Draft ads will be sent promptly by e-mail to advertisers for approval. Advertisers must approve their ads by 5 pm on Sunday. The print version of The Current is printed and distributed every Monday morning.

About advertising on Marketplace
Welcome to Marketplace. It you’re having a garage sale or want to sell your house or vehicle this is the virtual space where you can offer it up to potential customers.
As previously stated, the garage sale listings are FREE.
If you plan to clean out the storage closet, attic or shed and host a garage sale please e-mail us by using the form in the CONTACT US section online or send an e-mail to editor@revelstokecurrent.com. We’ll post the information in the Marketplace section.
We need to know WHERE your garage sale will be and the DAY and TIME you plan on having it. It’s not strictly necessary but you may want to include your name and phone number in case someone wants to contact you.
If you are trying to sell your house on your own — and by that I mean without the assistance of a realtor — The Revelstoke Current will be happy to help you do that. You can send us four colour photos of the residence or building in question along with the asking price, details on the home or building and contact information and we will post it in Marketplace. The cost will be $25 a month or any portion thereof. Please send all such information to editor@revelstokecurrent.com.
If you are selling a vehicle we will happily post one colour picture of your car or truck, along with details on its mileage, overall condition and your contact information for $25 a month or any portion thereof, plus HST, which I am required to collect even though I despise it and its creators.
Ditto for any miscellaneous items you wish to sell. The basic rule of thumb is that if the item you are selling is worth more than $100 and you want an ad you will pay $25 plus HST.
Unfortunately, I do not publish free ads for anything except Garage Sales. ALL GARAGE SALE ADS ARE FREE.
